You will be part of our young and growing GWF Labs team in Thessaloniki and take ownership of the hybrid platform (Azure and on-premises) that powers both our internal services and our digital products. You operate and continuously evolve our environment across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and on-premises systems, and you bring structure, security and governance to a fast-moving product organization. Your role

As Senior Cloud Platform Engineer you operate and optimize the Microsoft Azure platform for both business and product workloads, and you manage our hybrid infrastructure across Windows Server, Active Directory, storage and networking. You implement Azure governance controls such as policies, RBAC and cost management, and you monitor platform health, performance and availability with solid alerting and observability. You operate enterprise and immutable backup solutions and safeguard backup integrity, recovery capability and disaster resilience.

Together with our Security Engineer you harden the infrastructure, improve our security posture and advance Zero Trust principles for identity and infrastructure. You automate operations with PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code, manage capacity planning and lifecycle across cloud and on-premises, and you introduce and continuously improve ITIL-based service management with strong incident, problem and change management. Working closely with IT, Security, R&D and development teams, you make sure our platform meets enterprise security standards while enabling the build and operation of our digital products.

Qualifications and experience

• 5+ years owning hybrid Azure environments in enterprise settings
• Hands-on Azure operations across compute, network, storage, governance and cost
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID experience (RBAC, Conditional Access, PAM)
• Solid hybrid infrastructure skills (Windows Server, Active Directory, storage, networking)
• Experience with Azure landing zones and governance models
• Hands-on security implementation, hardening and Zero Trust principles
• Backup and disaster recovery, including immutable backups
• Strong troubleshooting across cloud and on-premises environments
• ITIL-based operations with incident, problem and change management
• Automation with PowerShell and/or Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
• An automation mindset, a structured way of working and the drive to own topics end to end
• Willingness to take part in an on-call and operational support rotation
• Fluent English (C1); Greek required

Nice to have

• Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect certification
• Azure Security Engineer certification
• ITIL Foundation (or equivalent) certification
• German language skills
