Embedded Electronics Engineer

In Thessaloniki, GWF has established a modern Development Center whose mission is to create fresh smart-metering and IoT solutions that reshape traditional utilities toward smart city paradigms. Responsibilities
- You will be mentored to actively contribute to design and testing for embedded electronics systems (e.g., flow meters, communication modules with a focus on low-power applications).
- Participate in design, development, testing and documentation of embedded systems. This includes PCB design, reviewing debugging, testing, properly documenting electronics and deliverables, attendance of meetings with internal business in a multisite environment.
- Contribute to a healthy local company culture.
- In parallel you will be integrated in an Agile development framework: take part in all ceremonies, get tasks assigned to you, and drive them to completion in time and scope. You will have a chance to learn about technologies, trends, best practices, protocols, standards, and certifications in the technological scope of the products and of product development in general.
Qualifications and experience
- PCBA design knowledge and experience; Altium knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to assemble electronic prototypes.
- Hands-on testing and evaluation using a range of test equipment.
- Familiarity with electronic assembly and manufacturing is a strong plus.
- Practical experience with STM32 or MSP430 microcontrollers is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills are a must; German is a strong plus.
- Good communication and presentation skills are essential.
- A BSc or MSc in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field rounds out your profile
