We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer with specialized knowledge in cyber security for Azure and Windows systems, including network technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT infrastructure, ensuring the protection of our systems and data against cyber threats.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage secure Azure and Windows environments
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to protect IT infrastructure
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into system architecture and applications
  • Manage and configure network security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT staff and end-users on security-related issues
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incidents

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a System Engineer with a focus on cyber security for Azure and Windows systems
  • In-depth knowledge of network technologies and security protocols
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are highly desirable
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, with German language knowledge as a bonus
